dc.description.abstract Results from field trials indicate that systemic organophosphorus insecticides reduce the incidence of tobacco yellow dwarf by about half. Yield of tobacco crops was reduced by 120 kg/ha for every 10 per cent TYD when infection occurred during the second month of growth.
